Medicine in the health insurance organization includes approximately 30% of the total treatment costs. The importance of medicine requires processes in line with cost management and controlling the distribution and supply cycle. Examining expensive drugs from different aspects; Rational prescription, approval guidelines and protocols, and violation prevention infrastructures are important, and in this study, growth hormone drug, which is one of the most expensive drugs, was selected for investigation.
materials and methods:
Applied study and the research method was descriptive and cross-sectional. Drug prescriptions and documents related to the applicants for filing and renewing the growth hormone drug file in 1401 were done from the electronic prescribing system and other systems, reporting and analysis and tables and charts were done using Excel.
